Control System Retrofit

A growing part of Ai's business is creating new control systems for older machines and equipment. Our customers tell us that very often it is not the machine itself that becomes obsolete. Rather it is the system that controls the machine that becomes obsolete.

This old control system may be :
• Failing due to age and use
• Expensive to repair or replace due to lack of spare parts and/or knowledgeable technical support
• Incapable of managing the ways you might want to use the machine today
• Costing you extra money because of energy use or excessive operator attention

At the same time, you may not want to replace the entire machine, especially if it‘s getting the job done for you and your people are skilled on its use.

The answer is to replace the control system. It is not only vastly less expensive than replacing the entire machine, but you may also be able to take advantage of machine capabilities that were previously unavailable to you because of control systems limitations.
